Once again, our Northern Nevada community is facing tremendous heartbreak. After the devastation of the Bug/Fred Mountain Fire and the Stallion Fire, we are now facing yet another major wildfire—the Hawk Fire.

The impact of these fires has been overwhelming. Unfortunately, we have already been notified of families who have lost their homes, and friends, loved ones, and fellow real estate professionals who have lost nearly everything. The devastation reaches far beyond the structures we see burning—it affects families, animals, livelihoods, and entire communities that will need our support for months to come.

As people look for ways to give, please be cautious of individual GoFundMe accounts and other online fundraisers unless you personally know and can verify the recipient. We want to make sure the generosity of our Dickson family reaches those who truly need it.

The fund provides critical support to individuals, families, animals, and communities affected by our region’s ongoing wildfires. Donations are distributed to trusted local organizations addressing immediate needs, long-term relief and recovery, and emerging needs as our communities begin the difficult process of rebuilding.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to the firefighters and first responders working tirelessly on the front lines, the Nevada National Guard, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and the many nonprofit organizations opening their doors to displaced families and animals.
